Lembit was accompanied by his wife and daughter, and he served as our guest speaker at the January event. Professor Nei is now a Senior Researcher and Professor Emeritus, Tartu College School of Engineering, Tallinn University of Technology, and he serves as Director of the NGO Environmental Protection Institute. Currently, Professor Nei is spending one month in the US as a Michigan State University – Erasmus+ academic visitor. Professor Emeritus Nei is a recent recipient of the Distinguished Service Medal of Tartu. Because the private room can accommodate up to 50 (and the adjoining outdoor balcony can accommodate 20) , please email

Potluck Luncheon

Lovely Home of Peep and Livija Rebane
Our nation and world are engaging strategies to contain and mitigate the transmission and effects of the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) (COVID-19).
An important mitigation strategy at this time is one called “social distancing.”
Though our group is small, we believe in supporting the CDC and Department of Health recommendations that we all individually and collectively avoid large gatherings. For some that means >1,000. For us, that means our number no matter how small.
We extend our deep appreciation to Peep and Livija. They have let us know they will be happy to host us again at a future date when our public health concerns have subsided.
